About the Artist

My paintings express my love for the natural world as we are so fortunate to see it in Maine and eastern Canada. Katahdin has been the main focus for my work in the past five years, especially the views from Katahdin Lake. I''ve been happy to be able to use my paintings to further conservation efforts in Maine, and having this effort described as ""the finest kind of activism"" is a great privilege. I am primarily a watercolor painter, although I also use pastel and other watermedia. I compose landscapes, coastal views, and what I describe as ""wilderness still life"" images.
