About the Artist

Margo Dittmer Lettering Artist has been a professional calligrapher for over twenty years, and works from her studio in Portland, Maine.

Projects include lettering for reproduction on calendars, catalogs, packaging and identity projects&#59; wedding and special event work such as invitations, envelope addressing, seating charts, and place cards&#59; award certificates&#59; family trees&#59; and more artistic pieces interpreting poems, lyrics or quotations for private clients and art shows.

The strength of Margo''s work is in her mastery of many styles of lettering and her strong sense of design, which results in great diversity in the pieces she produces. Margo''s work gives the distinctive look that only letters made by hand can bring.
