Susan Briggs

About the Artist

Susan Briggs is a landscape artist known for bringing the outside in with her painted murals. She is trained in sculpture and ceramics and has been teaching Art for over 25 years. Many of her former students have been successful in the arts due to her inspirational teaching methods. She has created an integrated multi-medium approach by combining inside and outside murals with sculptures based on a theme for a unified visual art experience. Many of her works are in private homes but one of her largest murals may be viewed at the Vassalboro Community School cafeteria and hallway.
