About the Artist

I am an artist and studio furniture designer and builder who specializes in custom fit furniture. My passion is working with wood to create functional works of art that are as pleasing to the eye as they are to the rest of the body. I believe the modern concept of one size fits all and the demand for standardization have been allowed so much influence in the design process that furniture today is now something to be endured rather than enjoyed.

I also do woodturning, pyrography, sculpture, relief carving and other wood art. I make pens, knives, desk accessories, jewelry boxes, collector's boxes, men's dresser valet boxes, music stands, dictionary stands, and various types of chests. I will also do custom designed ecclesiastical furnishings such as pulpits, podiums, Bible stands, communion tables, Baptismal fonts, Arks, etc.
