Bess Welden is currently developing The Passion of the Hausfrau, a solo comedy about a Portland mom and would-be writer who discovers her own creative power by embarking on a hilarious journey of mythic proportions. The play is adapted from and inspired by the writings and cartoons of ""Hausfrau Muthah-zine"" by Nicole Chaison.
