About the Artist

As I drive around the state I am always catching glimpses of the scenery as it flashes by. I?ve embarked on a series where I take the time to stop the car and go back to study the scene. These pastels are done in pairs one up steam, one down or out to sea, as the case may be. I am fascinated by water having grown up spending my summer at a camp right on a lake and now living by the ocean these View from the Bridge pastels are a way to frame the water giving a limited vista.
