About the Artist

I am a fiber artist and educator, with over twenty years teaching experience in art, music/dance and literacy as well as many years experience making, showing and selling art quilts. My most recent projects have been collaborations with schools, including two where the class wrote stories and then I worked with the students to illustrate their stories into quilted books. Another project was a collaboration with a 5th-grade art class, where we incorporated their block-prints into a quilt which now hangs at the school. My wish is to expand these collaborative projects to the greater Portland community.
