About the Artist

I grew up on the coast of Maine and earned an MFA in Ann Arbor. After working at Bread Loaf in the Green Mountains for four years and ten years of writing and odd jobs, I''ve been a high school English teacher in rural Maine for the last ten years. I''ve published poetry in many magazines, newspapers and anthologies. On-line, you can read my work at www.fishousepoems.org, Poetry Daily, and The Beloit Poetry Journal.

I am once again a full time poet and am available for readings at public and private schools in Maine.
