About the Artist
Jennifer Lee Morrow, a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design with a MFA from the University of Kansas, creates layered mixed media constructions that invite close viewing with alcoves, mirrors and light. A resident of Maine for over 25 years, Morrow creates using a diverse range of available materials, rich color, abstract patterns, and representational imagery to create narratives of personal symbols and patterns open to universal interpretation. She combines encaustic painting, collage, and other fine arts techniques with ways of working drawn from her extensive knowledge of textile traditions.
