About the Artist

Alice Bolstridge, Ph. D. Northern Maine native, retired English teacher, mother and grandmother. Awards with publications: Cimarron Review (1985 winner, Oklahoma State University Poetry and Fiction Awards); Licking River Review (1991 Best of Issue Poetry Prize); Passager (1995 Passager Poet Award); Nimrod (finalist, Pablo Neruda Poetry Award); Maine in Print (2005 Maine Writers and Publishers Alliance, Poetry Competition). Many other poems, stories and essays in a wide variety of literary magazines and anthologies. Recent publications: Cafe Review, Gold Wake Press, Bangor Metro, Wolf Moon Journal.
