Diane Bowie Zaitlin

About the Artist

Diane Bowie Zaitlin has proficiency in many art media including encaustic painting, mixed-media, and mural painting. She also paints and draws on found objects, such as antique doors to transform them into art objects. She offers workshops in maskmaking with decoupage, collage, printmaking and murals. She encourages students to approach art-making as a process of experimentation and exploration of materials, color, and form. Students are urged to find their own voices and sense of accomplishment through their work.
