About the Artist

Richard Lee Zuras writes and publishes short stories of realism that are both gritty and heart-felt. He holds the MFA, has been a scholar at Bread Loaf and Wesleyan and Pirate''s Alley/Faulkner, and is an Associate Professor of English &&&& Creative Writing/Film Studies Advisor at the University of Maine @ Presque Isle. He publishes weekly Box-Office reviews @ www.fusedwire.com and is working on a screenplay. He has published fiction and poetry in Story Quarterly, Weber Studies, Passages North, South Dakota Review, The Laurel Review, Chicago Quarterly Review, and Lake Effect, among others. He is the recipient of a Yemassee Fiction Award.
