I am intrigued by the undulating twists and turns nature sometimes creates under the bark of a tree. As a woodturner, I attempt to remove just enough to enhance the beauty presented by nature. My turnings are not necessarily meant to be functional, rather, they are intended as a visual treat.. function is sometimes a ''bonus''.
