Victoria Paskett

About the Artist

Victoria Paskett was born and raised in London, England. She relocated to Maine in 2003, where she received her BFA in Painting, and Minor in Art History from Maine College of Art. Her work has been featured in recent shows at the Center for Maine Contemporary Art, and The Institute of Contemporary Art, and is in the collection of the Library of Congress. She has had residencies at Haystacks Mountain School of Crafts, and most recently in 2009 at the Vermont Studio Center. Her current body of work focuses on examining domestic female crafts, and using them to explore the beauty of innocence, and it's degradation.
