About the Artist

Betsy is predominately a photographer but also works in mixed media. People, scenery, and intimate glimpses of nature dominate her photography, including images of China and Japan, where she taught English. She also photographs throughout Maine. Betsy expresses her observations on the intricacies of life through her haiku and free verse poetry. She hopes to combine her visual arts and poetry in future projects.

Her photographs of Bangor are on exhibit at Bangor City Hall and Maine Discovery Museum in Bangor until April 15, 2010.
