About the Artist

Scot's song writing residency is for any age, subject, or literacy project. It's format,length, and project product is quite flexible. Usually done in a school setting it can even be used with kindergarten and first graders. Scot works with student lyrics to write songs that are then rehearsed, recorded and made into a CD for the school. Another goal is to make these songs available as MP3's on the school or Scot's website to be downloaded by the students. Schools have also used these CD's as fundraisers to help fund the project.
