About the Artist

Renee (Thompson) Blanchard is an award winning photographer, who until recently, was based out of the Portland, Maine area. In the summer of 2010, she married a native of Clinton, Maine, and is now proud to say that Clinton is her new hometown.

Along with scenic photographs, she also enjoys photographing families, couples, weddings, celebrations and even your family pet! Her style and easy going personality has helped her to become a noteworthy portrait artist.

Renee has an ongoing photojournalism project to help raise awareness for people with PTSD, or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. She hopes to display some of this work in 2011.
