About the Artist

My paintings reflect my love of Maine and the peace I find here. Many people find my artwork calming, which may explain why many hospitals exhibit my oils and watercolors.

I began painting in 1968 (professionally in 1984). I studied with several prominent artists before becoming a mentor and teacher as well. My work can be found in private, public and corporate collections nationwide and internationally. A book by Rose Safran, "Sunrise to Sunset" about me and my art was published in 2008.
