Rachel Smith Maher created Dragonfly Arts of Maine to showcase her colorful watercolor paintings inspired by unique Maine scenery: blaze orange sunsets, deep purples and greens in gardens, splashing oceans and scenic vistas found only in her home state. Her mission each time she picks up her brush is to interpret and reflect God's Creation, bringing a sense of peace into the heart of the beholder. Primarily self-taught, she has been guided by many beloved Maine artists from a young age and understands deeply the stewardship of the gift of creativity in this world.
