About the Artist
An independent radio & multimedia producer, and writer living in central Maine. Recently she served as the Island Institute Historical Documentation Fellow on Swan's Island, ME where she produced audio and multimedia documentaries, oral histories, a digital historical photo collection, exhibits. She is the author of "Guts, Feathers and All," a collection of profiles about ten Swan's Island residents and their island's history. Her work ranges from traditional straight documentary style to a more experimental audio art approach, but always with narrative and character as the drivers radio program, and a B.A. in Theater from Siena Heights University. A graduate of the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies. In a previous life she worked as an actor in the Midwest until she discovered that truth really is stranger than fiction.
