About the Artist

I'm a painter with a studio in Portland, Maine, where I develop my own body of work and give private painting lessons.

My work is based on the foundation of human experience; the spaces we live in, the figures that surround us, moments in time that would rather be timeless. I give these moments life by bringing together the subject itself and the colors and emotion they spark internally. I find the most meaningful art to be that which combines our reality with deep imagination.

My work is on view by appointmet in my studio at Running With Scissors Art Studios and Gallery. I also give lessons to artists who are looking to build on their talent with focused, encouraging, private instruction.
