About the Artist
Rebecca McNulty is the owner/director of Ravenscrawl: The Rookery (Where Myth & Imagination Come to Play). This program is for children ages 10 to 14 who love art, gaming, story. Programs are at Bowdoin College during the summers and at RSU5 Community Programs in Durham Community School during Feb and Apr vacations.
Ravenscrawl: The Rookery grew out of an earlier program known as Dragon’s Eye Adventures (3-Penny Mysteries for the Young Detective Mage). This program combines storytelling, live-action roleplaying, team challenge initiatives, ciphers, puzzles, and art.
Rebecca has an MFA in Drama from UConn and a BA in Religion and Theater from Wells College. Her elegant puppet productions include "The Dragon of Kyo" and "The Vanishing Point." She has written over 80 adventure plays, including "The Mask of Dreams" and "Star Chronicler's Journey."
Rebecca also studied photography, video, and graphic design in New Media and Communications at SMCC. She taught 2D Design at SMCC for several years, but prefers teaching art without the judgment of grades.
