About the Artist

Running With Scissors;
Artist Studios & Community is a diverse artist studio collective thriving in the industrial and eclectic East Bayside neighborhood of Portland, ME. A dedicated workspace, it serves over 80 artists working in various mediums, sharing equipment, space, community, ideas, support, and tools. This community brings the resources and community together for artists to reach their independent creative goals. Specific equipment and staff in the Print, Caly, and Wood shops at RWS Studios, as well as general materials and equipment, support the artist's practice. The EMERGE Artist in Residence Program supports 4 artists working in clay and print each year.
