About the Artist

Adam Daley Wilson is a painter and conceptual artist. He lives and works in Portland Maine. Both of his solo shows to date were Artforum Magazine ‘Must See’ in Chicago (2021, 2023). He is represented by ENGAGE Projects Gallery in Chicago, which has placed seven pieces with established US collectors since then.

Daley Wilson’s work is associated with post-conceptualism, postminimalism, conceptual painting, photo montage, text based art, appropriation art, and activist art.

His primary mediums are oil painting, new media, photography, and video.
Daley Wilson’s works have been short-listed by the Senior Curator and Head of Modern Art at the National Gallery of Art, Washington; his shows have received international press (Mousse Magazine / Italy); and a Berlin-based global art advisory ranks him as within the top 15% of living artists worldwide and the top 2% of artists associated with post-conceptualism, postminimalism, conceptual painting, photo montage, and text based art.

ENGAGE Projects represents approximately 20 conceptual artists from around the world. Works by artists represented by ENGAGE are in the permanent collections of major US and European Museums (MOMA, Guggenheim, Tate, more).

Adam Daley Wilson is a self-taught artist with traditional degrees (Penn, Stanford Law).
