About the Artist

Adam Daley Wilson is a painter, conceptual artist, and emerging art theorist. He lives and works in Portland Maine. 2 of 3 solo shows to date were Artforum Magazine ‘Must See’ in Chicago (2021, 2023). He is represented by ENGAGE Projects Gallery in Chicago.

Daley Wilson’s work is associated with post-conceptualism, post-minimalism, conceptual painting, text based art, performance art, artist-placed public document law-as-art, and activist art.

ENGAGE Projects represents about 20 conceptual artists from around the world. Works by artists represented by ENGAGE Projects are in the permanent collections of major US and European Museums (MOMA, Guggenheim, Tate, more).

Adam Daley Wilson is a self-taught artist with traditional degrees (Univ. Penn, Stanford Law). He is also an appellate lawyer and public interest legal advocate for ending mental illness stigma in the legal profession and for supporting the local rule of law.
