Tricia Granzier

About the Artist

I am an artist/painter with a focus on creating coastal Maine art. I paint primarily in acrylic these days, with experience in watercolor and oil as well. Like many artists, I'm inspired by nature and my surroundings and therefore, so fortunate to live on the coast of Maine in Scarborough where beauty in nature is abundant. I'm keenly aware of my surroundings every time I step outside my home. I notice colors, compositions, and I find profound beauty in ordinary objects and landscapes. I am an accepted member of the state's Maine Made program. Awards include first place in Watercolor at the 2013 Maine Women in the Arts Annual Awards Show in Kennebunkport for my painting Beach Rocks. I've participated in a number of shows over the years, including Portland's First Friday Artwalk, Skillins Greenhouses Captured Colors art show, additional Maine Women in the Arts shows and the Sidewalk Art Festival held in Portland in summer. I have completed numerous commissioned pieces and have sold my artwork throughout the United States.
