About the Artist

My name is Samantha. I live in my van. I am an artist. I create daily with a variety of recycled materials, including jewelry, greeting cards, fridge magnets, paper masks, hand sewn backpacks and skirts, crocheted and knitted hats and scarves, melted styrofoam sculptures, paintings, drawings, seashell fortune cookies, photography, and sculpture. My mission is making art mobile, readily available, and very affordable. I travel across Maine, meeting new friends and collecting supplies. I make custom pieces, and take travel requests. No art is too big or too small! I would also love to donate any of my pieces to the fundraising endeavors of any organizations that appreciate the arts.

Also looking for the chance to bring creativity into the realm of education. I taught elementary school art for three years, and am always looking for opportunities to engage the young and young at heart artistically and musically, through workshops, drum circles, and community art projects. I sing, play drums, and write songs and poetry, too.
