Leslie Bowman

About the Artist

Leslie Bowman is a visual artist and documentary photographer living in Washington County. Her work is a direct response to her surroundings. As a photographer she has documented many of Maine's prominent artists in their studio. Other documentary work honors people at work in various occupations most often in the coastal communities. Bowman is an adjunct faculty member in the Arts at the University of Maine at Machias, works as a free lance photographer and most importantly maintains a studio in Trescott where painting is the focus.
