About the Artist

Edge of Maine Art & Framing provides custom picture framing, conservation framing, and digital restoration services in western Maine. Our work is grounded in archival standards, careful craftsmanship, and close collaboration with artists, collectors, and the public.

We frame a wide range of materials, including original artwork, photographs, works on paper, posters, diplomas, sports memorabilia, textiles, needlepoint, and family heirlooms. Each project is approached individually, with attention to materials, scale, context, and the environment in which the work will be displayed. Our goal is to support and enhance the artwork—never to overwhelm it.

In addition to framing, Edge of Maine offers high-resolution photographic scanning and digital restoration. We repair creases, tears, stains, fading, and image loss in historic and personal photographs, and produce museum-quality archival prints suitable for exhibition or preservation.
