About the Artist
Murals. miniatures, paintings, portraits, watercolors, oils and hand pulled prints. Drawing and painting is what I do. I paint things important to me; people I love, places that spark something special. If a painting doesn’t mean something to me first, why ever should it matter to anyone else?
Recent projects include my murals “City of Ships” and “Kennebec” for Bath, Maine and for the Capital Judicial Center in Augusta. I also completed a major painting, “Stories from the Mezzanine” to commemorate the new Lithgow Library.
I am a native Mainer but my heart is divided from many years spent in Mexico and the Pacific Northwest—bones of New England, with dust and rust from Guadalajara and Seattle.
I love to paint; it is what I do—well, when I'm not canoeing, hiking and dancing with my wife.
Enjoy.
