About the Artist

CST Fine Art is the award winning, internationally collected artist, Christopher S. Tietjen. Tietjen is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania’s world-renowned Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and the recipient of numerous prestigious prizes and competitive grants. Although Tietjen is a Philadelphia native, he has been exploring and interpreting Maine's coastal landscapes for over a decade. His current exhibition, The Acadia Series: 2014-2017 is the culmination of thousands of hours of dedicated plein-air work. The special exhibition will open with an artist's reception on Friday, August 4th from 7-10PM in the Moore Auditorium at Schoodic Institute. Event is free and open to the public. Following the reception, the exhibition will be available to view during regular business hours or by private appointment.
