About the Artist

Phil and Ellen LaClaire keep alive a family musical tradition which now spans four generations. They present a colorful package of acoustic and gospel music performed on banjo, mandolin, guitar, and ""dog-house"" bass. Phil and Ellen take their music throughout the northeastern states and into Canada to the north. Occasionally, a southern tour takes them as far from home as Oklahoma. The home grown music style that the LaClaires present is comfortable and meaningful to any audience.
