About the Artist

Factory 3 is a makerspace at 105 St. James Street, Portland that hosts a diverse group of creatives, thinkers and dreamers, entrepreneurs, as well as experts and beginners. We provide shared use of a wood shop, a metal shop (including welding), textile equipment, and 3D printers, and offer private studios for the dedicated maker. Factory 3's array of workshops and creative courses contribute to the learning and development of not only our members but of Portland's diverse community of artists, craftspersons, designers, engineers, and spirited business people. We are also a space where people who enjoy teaching others come to share their knowledge and skillsets.

At Factory 3, our mission is to create a space that empowers makers to realize their full potential by removing as many barriers as possible.
