Brent Alan Bachelder

About the Artist

Brent grew up Newry, Maine. He graduated from Telstar High School in 1985 and went off to Providence, RI, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture from the Rhode Island School of Design, graduating in 1989.

He started his business, Club Neopolsi Creations Design Studio and he began building his portfolio by creating educational and large-scale murals and custom artwork for many clients from New York to Maine.

In 1991 he began his arts-education career. Later he attended Rhode Island College, graduating in 1999 with a second BFA degree. He taught for 8 years at his alma mater, R.I.S.D. starting in 1999.

After 32 years away, Brent returned to Maine in 2017, settling in the town of Rumford. He brought his business with him. In 2020, he will be celebrating his 31st year in business!

Soon after, in October 2017, he opened “Art with Mr. Brent”, offering art classes and events for kids and adults.

Additionally, Brent is the art teacher at both Meroby(K-4) & Andover(PK-5) Elementary Schools and teaches STEAM for the W.F.K.A. afterschool program.
