About the Artist

The Union of Maine Visual Artists (UMVA) represents visual artists statewide in all fields of endeavor and welcomes those who wish to support contemporary artists in Maine. Currently, there is strong and growing membership across the entire state with approximately 350 members, and there are three active UMVA chapters: Downeast, Midcoast, and Southern Maine.
