About the Artist

Peregrine (Peri) Starr is an artist/illustrator and self-published writer, working in Freeport, ME. Currently enrolled at SMCC to further her studies in animation, her plans are incorporate her art and stories into feature-length animated films.

Peri has done freelance art and design work for 20+ years, designing logos, signage, t-shirts, illustrations for other writers, and more. Most often working with watercolor and ink, she is currently shifting media to suit the digital animation process while maintaining the style and integrity of her original artwork. Her current projects include adapting her book, "The Golden Pinecone" into an animated holiday special, and a series based on her Land of Lo stories.
