About the Artist

Our mission is to provide accessible, high-quality visual arts education to learners of all ages and abilities. Through classes, workshops, and community programs, the organization fosters creativity, skill development, personal growth, and connection, ensuring that everyone— regardless of experience, age, or ability—has the opportunity to explore, create, and engage with the arts in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

We offer Six-Week Classes in ceramics, painting, drawing, and metalsmithing allow students to build skills progressively; many take multiple consecutive sessions—often five or six per year—fostering sustained practice and artistic confidence. Single-Session Workshops offer low-barrier entry points for new learners or those exploring new media, encouraging experimentation without long- term commitment.

Artascope’s annual Plein Air Art Festival draws regional artists and features workshops, free demonstrations, and juried exhibitions, promoting inclusivity, participation, and cultural enrichment. The festival also benefits local artists and partner organizations, strengthening the regional arts ecosystem.
