About the Artist

Living in a small town in rural Maine, there is no shortage of landscapes or subjects to paint. From the beautiful farms, rolling hills and deep forests to the many lakes, streams and breath taking coastlines, it is no wonder I love my life here. Some of my favorite subjects are that of farms and all that relates to the beauty and simplicity of the "Simple" life style. This, in my opinion is disappearing all too quickly. Upon my choosing a subject to paint, with a blank canvas in hand, a story is born and I begin portraying that story in the painting. If the viewer sees what I'm portraying then we have made a connection and I am successful.
