About the Artist

I work in wood and metal scrap, particularly vintage materials from farming and the fisheries. My sculptures are life-size and larger, whimsical in spirit and designed for outdoor siting. Most are animals or figures, drawing on myth and legend for iconinc images. My sculpture garden here occupies several acres and includes several larger installations and huge sculptures: a Grail Castle facade, general store, Chinese dragon, flamingo, and griffin. We welcome visitors (location is shared with Nervous Nellie's Jams and Jellies) and are open year-round.
