About the Artist

VSA Maine is an arts and arts education organization that creates innovative and inclusive arts programs with and for people with disabilities. Our mission is to ensure that every person with a disability in Maine has the opportunity to use the arts to rise to his or her fullest potential, to explore the world, and become an active participant in it. VSA arts of Maine provides ARTS IN SERVICE through artist-in-residence, professional development, consulting. AWARENESS AND ADVOCACY are conducted through art exhibitions, lectures, presentations and public educational efforts that facilitate the support of arts, disability and education. ACCESSIBLE MAINE provides technical support for cultural sites to become more physically and programmatically accessible and promote inclusion.
