Wildlife, gardens and landscapes are recurrent themes in my nature based paintings and photographs. I use traditional realism and occasionally, abstract designs based on environmental patterns for a diverse range of images. Media include acrylics, watercolor, gouache and oils.

Since graduating with a BA in art from the University of Maine, I have completed several private commissions and one public, Precent for Art commission (for the University of Maine at Presque Isle.) After many years of taking photographs for reference material, publishing work as a free-lance photographer and writer was a natural progression. My work has appeared in Echoes, People-Places and Plants, Birds and Blooms, This Old Barn and Aroostook Tourism to name several.
