Maine Employee Art Exhibition
The Maine Employee Art Exhibition celebrates the creativity, talent, and imagination of State of Maine employees and their families. Organized by the Maine Arts Commission in partnership with the National Arts Program, this bi-annual exhibition showcases the artistic spirit that thrives across Maine’s public workforce.
The program invites participants of all skill levels to share original works of art for public display at the Burton M. Cross Office Building in Augusta. Each piece reflects the diverse perspectives and creativity of Maine’s state employees, making this exhibition a true celebration of community and self-expression.
Cash prizes were awarded across categories for youth, teens, adults, and professional artists, and the exhibition was on view from August 1 through October 24, 2025. The program concluded with a joyful awards ceremony honoring this year’s outstanding participants and the remarkable creativity they bring to the State of Maine.
