Additional Information: Munka Studio invites visual artists to submit their work to our second Art Exhibition. Art submissions should be 2-D in the disciplines of painting, printmaking, fiber, drawing, mixed media, or photography. The theme is “Clean Water”. Passed on October 17, 1972, the Clean Water Act is steadily approaching its 50th anniversary. Maine’s senator Edmund Muskie from 1959-1980 had a vision to see clean waters throughout the nation. Muskie fought to bring life back to waterways and protect human health.

Rules of Entry: All artwork must be original. Minimum size is 8×10 inches and maximum size is 36×48 inches. Each artist may submit up to 3 works. Collaborative artworks made by multiple artists are permitted. All artwork must be submitted on or before July 23rd, 2022. Each entry should be submitted to info@munkastudio.com with 1-3 digital images of the piece. Short artist biography (100-150 words) and artist statement must be included with submission.

Selection of the artwork will be completed by the jury and the selected artists will be contacted by email sometime the following week.

Selected artwork should be delivered to Munka Studio soon thereafter on a date to be determined. Artwork must be either framed or stretched canvas and ready to hang on the wall. Artwork must be available for sale and should be displayed in the gallery for the full duration of the exhibition.
