Deer Isle – Haystack’s first exhibition of the summer season features the work of ten artists, working in a variety of disciplines, who have taken part in Haystacks’ Open Studio Residency. This exhibition includes work that was either made during, or inspired by, their time at Haystack.

The Open Studio Residency fosters a dynamic exchange among peers by providing two weeks of uninterrupted studio time for emerging and established artists working in the field of craft and other creative disciplines. The program extends our commitment to supporting artists and encouraging the development of new ideas. Initiated in 2013 the residency is generously supported by Haystack’s Windgate Foundation Endowment for Programs. Exhibiting artists include Meg Roberts Arsenovic, Thomas Campbell, Tara Cooper, Donna D’Aquino, Bukola Koiki, Phoebe Kuo, Terry O’Neill, Christian Schmit, Keith Simpson, and Tyler Stoll.
