MaineGeneral Medical Center Invites Local Artists to Exhibit Art at Hospitals Augusta and Waterville

MaineGeneral Medical Center’s volunteer art committee invites Maine artists interested in exhibiting their work at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta or at the Thayer Center for Health in Waterville to submit proposals for exhibitions via email. Available exhibition spaces are suitable for 2D visual art, including painting, drawing, hand-pulled prints or photography. The sales commission rate is 20%. Proceeds from sales are used to purchase art for offices and public spaces on campus. The MaineGeneral Medical Center art committee also welcomes proposals from school art departments, from K-12 to college level, or from community art education programs.
