We’ve assembled a stellar panel of grant reviewers, who are also artists themselves, to share their best practices and techniques for effective grant writing.

Creating A Budget For Your Grant

Join Grants Manager Kerstin Gilg, Executive Director David Greenham, and guests for a discussion about creating an effective budget for your Maine Arts Commission grant application.

Artist Springboard Grant For First-time Applicants

The Artist Springboard Grant is designed to help emerging artists and individuals who are new grant seekers or have had difficulty being funded through a grants process. Funds assist individual artists with the creation of new work, the continuation of existing practices, and participation in professional development programs and activities. In this information session, you'll learn more about the program, the application process, how to navigate the grant application portal, and who to reach out to with any questions as you prepare your materials. There will be plenty of time for questions throughout.

Grants for Arts Educators Workshop

We’ve made some changes to our grants program, but our commitment to funding arts education opportunities is still as strong as ever.  This hour-long, free webinar will highlight all the ways that individual teaching artists*, schools, and community organizations can apply for Maine Arts Commission grants to support arts learning.  The goal of this workshop is to encourage eligible folks to apply before our April 2022 deadlines.
