Americana Fest Celebrates Hybrid Shades of Music Spectrum

Audience members of the Ossipee Valley Music Festival this year will enjoy performances that blend unique and energetic combinations of blues, soul, folk, celtic and world rhythms, gospel, flatpicking guitar, gyspy jazz, Appalachian, country, bluegrass and more. The festival features many Grammy and award winning bands such as Marty Stuart, Sarah Jarosz, The Holmes Brothers, and Della Mae. The festival celebrates its Fifthteenth summer this July 25-28, with four stages of performances, workshops, contests, barn dances, film screenings, yoga sessions, a free children’s music program and plenty of fireside pickin. The festival’s aim is to find bands that push the limits of genre, and straddle invention and tradition with hybrid musical performances of exceptionally high quality.
