RENDALL FINE ART / gallery & printmaking studio - Seeking Intern

RENDALL FINE ART - 65 MAIN STREET, WISCASSET - Fine Art Gallery and Printmaking Studio is now scheduling interviews for individuals interested in an internship/apprenticeship,  learning to manage gallery space, prepare exhibitions, maintain mailing lists and social media, as well as working in the adjacent studio producing large scale woodcuts, limited edition etchings, and custom framing.  Interested candidates should have excellent communication skills, a friendly and professional demeanor, and a willingness to learn. Dependibility and a true commitment is a must.   Emerging artists are encouraged to apply and will have the benefit of being mentored by an accomplished artist, as well as  access to a fully equipped printmakig studio and opportunities to exhibit their own work, in exchange for their time.   

Rendall Fine Art represents the work of internationally recognized artist, R. Keith Rendall.  He is known for his etchings, large scale woodcuts, paintings and carvings.  He creates pieces that are inspired by the natural environment of Maine, especially wildlife.  He accepts comissions for private as well as public spaces.  The gallery is in it's fifth year, and has a strong patron base, and is preparing to expand on a more national level.

Please contact Keith or Julie at 207-350-9322 to set up an interview before May 1, 2018.  Hours will be flexible, but will include some evenings and weekends.  Gallery hours are 11am - 6pm,  Monday - Saturday, Sunday 11-4.  Rendall Fine Art participates in the monthly Wiscasseet Art Walk and hosts other special events.
