Over two dozen area artists will showcase their work in storefronts and studios up and down Water Street in historic downtown Gardiner. Hundreds of original works of art will be available for sale at more than a dozen different downtown venues.

Many local businesses will be hosting artists for the evening, including Alex Parker’s Steakhouse (opening soon), Ampersand Academy of Dance & Performing Arts, earth bound, The Girltrend Shop, Lisa’s Legit Burritos, Mainiac Brewing & Supply LLC, SaraSara’s, and Water Street Café. Area artists Adrienne Beacham, Matt Demers, Judith Herman, Allison McKeen, Robert Lash, Tanya Russell, Cecille Sirois, Christine Sullivan, Dianne Weber, and student artists from the University of Maine at Augusta will exhibit original paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, sculptures, and mixed media works at these locations. A wide selection of locally handcrafted items including textiles, jewelry, wood carvings, and pieces by The Potters House will also be available at Monkitree, where original artwork by local artists Nancy Barron, Megan Bastey, and Johanna Moore will be featured in a new exhibition called “Local Color.”

At Circling the Square Fine Art Press, printmakers Karen Adrienne, Emily Naples, Donna Parkinson, Ellen Roberts, Jennifer Strode, Barbra Whitten, Diana Willette, and other members will showcase a selection of fine art prints and functional printed objects.
