Join WesArts, for their third artist workshop, and Sean Ferguson from the Northeast Document Conservation Center for an introduction to emergency preparedness in the arts.

This workshop is FREE. We do ask if you plan to come that you RSVP here so we can plan refreshments, thanks.

About the workshop:
Independent artists, performers, and arts organizations face a variety of potential threats from human-made and natural disasters to electrical failures. These emergencies can put yourself, your audience, your equipment, and even the future of your business at risk. This 2-hour workshop introduces participants to strategies for being prepared for the unexpected. Attendees will learn how to identify and assess risks unique to their situation and make a plan they can depend on when disaster strikes. Participants will leave with a strong idea of their next steps and where to turn to for further resources.
