The MCP Shorts Festival features 12 brief plays from Maine playwrights [Dan & Denise Marois, Greg Simpson, Bob LeBlanc, Josie French, Laura Emack, Jo Anne Walton, Emily Carlton, Danny Gay, Randy Hunt, Izzy Hamann, Jake Lewis] to be performed outdoors at Anniversary Park in Auburn. Scripts range from light and comedic to sad and contemplative, all based around the theme “Waiting.” Audience is asked to bring their own chairs or picnic blankets.
